COVID-19 Safety Protocols

For Bentall Physiotherapy – Staff & Patients

Steps to reduce the risk of person-to-person transmission

  • To facilitate physical distancing adjustments to the schedule have been made. Please arrive not earlier than 5 min before your schedule time.  If the room is not available for you yet and the clinic is busy, you might be asked to wait outside for a short time.
  • Self check-in for the appointment will be available. Look for QR code posted on the front door.
  • Only one therapist will be in the clinic at one time and individual treatment rooms offer safe separation.
  • No accompanying person will be allowed in the clinic, unless the patient is a minor.
  • Upon arrival please wear mask. If you forget or don’t have one, you can purchase one from us at cost ($1/mask)
  • At reception you will be provided with hand sanitizer (distributed only by Kelly to avoid contamination) and we will confirm that COVID-19 Risk Consent, and COVID-19 Screening Survey for this appointment have been completed. Please remember to complete these forms before you arrive to ensure flow at reception. Staff will also complete a daily self-assessment for COVID-19.
  • We will make every effort to finalize all administrative tasks like filling out forms, insurance information, credit card information (if yours is not contactless!) prior to your appointment to minimize the contact time in the clinic.  Receipts will all be emailed.
  • The Plexiglas barriers have been installed  at the reception desk as safe physical distancing is not possible here.
  • You will be strongly encourage to washed your hands in the washroom before leaving the clinic. Please notify the receptionist, so proper disinfection is conducted afterwards.

Cleaning Protocols

  • All direct contact objects in the treatment rooms ( bed, bolster, vinyl pillows, chairs rails, door handles, faucets, equipment) will be cleaned and disinfected between each patient.
  • Hard surfaces, countertops, equipment carts, barriers, sinks and faucets will be washed and disinfected at least twice a day.
  • All paper products used during treatment will be discarded in the garbage.
  • Hand washing and sanitization stations are available in the clinic and therapists will be washing  their hands every time  there is contact with object that might be contaminated.
