New Patients
We ALWAYS warmly welcome new patients to our office! we offer 24/7 online appointment booking for your convenience.
What to Expect
During your first visit your physiotherapist will:
- Gather information regarding your injury or problem, other current or past medical conditions and contributing factors.
- Conduct a thorough physical assessment to determining the root cause of your pain and/or dysfunction.
- Come up with an effective and scientifically based treatment plan.
- Perform therapeutic treatments to alleviate your symptoms.
- Educate you about your role in the healing process.
Subsequent treatments will always start with short re-assessment to establish the impact of the previous treatment session. Over time, your treatment plan will be adapted, modified and progressed to meet your changing needs and goals. There will always be time to address concerns and questions.
Please come to your first appointment a bit early so that any outstanding paperwork can be filled in prior to seeing your physiotherapist. To speed up this process, visit our Forms & Questionnaires page to download the ones that pertain to you.
Wear or bring clothing that will allow your physiotherapist to see the area you are coming about. For example, if you are coming about your hip, low back or knee, you’ll want to bring shorts.
For your convenience, we offer a select number of new patient appointments available for 24/7 online bookings. If these time slots do not work for your schedule, please contact our clinic directly and we will schedule you in!
